Meet Baylie, our passionate speech pathologist

Baylie created We Say Speech to provide individualised, strength-based, and FUN sessions for every client. She loves taking the time to understand each client's circumstances and develop goals that make meaningful improvements to their daily life.

Having worked in private practice across the Northern Territory, rural Queensland, Brisbane and now the Northern Rivers, Baylie has worked with clients from all backgrounds. 

​

As a Certified-Practicing Speech Pathologist, Baylie is committed to keeping her knowledge and skills current. She is a certified clinician in the Hanen It Takes Two To Talk parent program and has completed training to implement therapy approaches including PROMPT, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Anna Danziel Play-Based Therapy.

Baylie says, "A career working in both health care and education has been my goal since childhood. I always say that I learn as much from my clients as they do from me, and I marvel at their natural curiosity and innate desire to interact with the world around them.  The joy and satisfaction I receive from helping and supporting each client develop the skills and knowledge to guide them throughout their life journey makes for new and exciting work each and every day."
